Went to Yoga again. Think that makes it trip #4 for me. If I had more time, I'd be going a lot more I think. I'm digging the physical results.
Today, had a substitute instructor who was late getting there (or actually just on time) and a 'new' student was pacing outside nervously so we were chatting. She got into Yoga when she had an extended stay in the hospital (over a month) -- didn't ask for what. But she never quite settled down, and did tell me that she walked to the studio.
The instructor asked the same question and inquired if it was a mobility issue this woman was in the hospital.
'No, it was a mental issue. I was in the psych ward for a month'
Come again? That was not what I expected to hear. She seemed well enough adjusted and thinking about it, after reading another book about incarceration, ('Orange is the New Black') that at least she was able to get access to Yoga 3 times a week and clearly her stay helped her get back on her feet again.
