Walking out of a store the other day, I saw a woman throw a nearly full cigarette on the ground with probably one drag taken on it. Besides the obvious litter problem, what a freakin' waste of nicotine for her nic fit & of money.
$7.25 (pack of smokes) / 20 cigs = $0.36
So while it's not terribly expensive, smokes are not that cheap and if you are that addicted to smoking you've got to have a $10+ a day habit. Throwing one on the ground seems just so stupid. I mean smoking is stupid in the first place, but being a stupid smoker is even worse.
